According to the latest statistics, Intellectual Property litigation cases in the first half of 2009 has totaled close to the 2008 Annual sum, IP litigation cases are increasing at a rapid annual rate of 30%. Bearing this in mind Kangxin Partners, P.C. hosted its Seminar on "Intellectual Property Litigation" on August 11, 2009. At this seminar many influential IP Law experts were invited to discuss relevant matters in Patent Law Protection and Patent Infringement Litigations, this seminar attracted more than 140 in-house counsels from a large number of enterprises in China.

The seminar's opening speech was delivered by Mr. David Zhang (Assistant to the Managing Partner), in his speech Mr. Zhang mentioned the seriousness of IPR Protection for all enterprises, as the number of Litigation cases is growing rapidly in recent years, for enterprises to remain competitive, they must raise their IPR awareness.

Following Mr. Zhang's opening speech, the Presiding Judge of the Beijing Number 1 Middle Court, Ms. Songyan Rui gave specific case examples to assist attendees in interpreting and understanding current trends and conditions of IP Litigation precedents.
