In the afternoon of July 28, 2009, the 8th Kangxin IP Salon with its theme focused on "How to Prepare Patent Specifications for Chemical and Biotech Fields" was held at Kangxin Partners, P.C..
23 in-house counsel from 21 enterprises participated in the Salon. Mr. Steven Wang, a Partner at Kangxin and highly experienced Patent Attorney in chemical field was invited as the keynote speaker at this Salon. Mr. Wang interpreted the concept of inventive steps in Patent Application for Inventions and how to evaluate if an invention application to be granted meets the requirements of Inventive Steps. Mr. Wang also elaborated on the issues of sufficient disclosure and support for claims relating to chemical and biotechnical patent application documents which are of great help for the applicants when preparing documents for technical clarifications. Towards the end of the Salon, Mr. Wang also shared his profound experiences on Patent Application strategies.
At the end of the Salon, all participants were invited to join in on an official Office Tour of Kangxin Partners, P.C. Many were deeply impressed by the professional Kangxin work culture and expressed that they would definitely come back for future seminars.
